A particularly busy time of year for the Airsoft industry, I combined by own graphic design skills whilst managing other team members to drum up online attention this Valentines in 2020 for Patrol Base Airsoft. The goal was to launch a competition for people to enter by submitting a photo of them and their loved one in Airsoft Army gear. Upon submitting to either Instagram or Facebook, they must use relevant hashtags and tag the company to count as a valid submission.
I personally managed and assisted in the creation of storyboards, scripting, planning and oversight of a video editing whilst also producing a full blog write-up and related graphic elements.
The blog post and initial social marketing hit the web all at the same time.
The the entries being open to global submissions, entries came in thick and fast. This allow the submissions to be re-used as examples on all social networks as story and wall posts. This produced enough content for three days worth of pre-scheduling and keeping Patrol Base in the public eye every 2 to 3 hours.
After 3 days of advertising the competition, news had been shared on all social channels and other blog hosting sites and partners. We then announced the three lucky winners once again on all social platforms and a news blog post.
